• Postgraduate medical students (MD/MS) are not eligible under this particular scheme, since it is designed exclusively for undergraduate professional courses.
• Students who are already receiving another scholarship from a trust or private institution generally cannot claim this one, though government-funded scholarships for SC/ST students are treated as an exception.
