Acharya Deshabhushan Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital is a private Ayurveda college located in Bedkihal-Shamanewadi, Tal-Chikodi, in Belagavi (Belgaum) district of Karnataka. It was started in 2002 by the Latthe Education Society (LES), a much older trust founded on 13 June 1951 in memory of Annasaheb Latthe, a noted educationalist, former Diwan of Kolhapur State, and the first Finance Minister of the Bombay Presidency. LES is headquartered in Sangli and runs 38 educational institutions across schools, law, engineering, arts & science, agriculture, and Ayurvedic medicine, of which this college is the Society's flagship medical institution.
