As per KCET 2025 data, the closing rank for BE in Computer Science and Engineering at AIT Bangalore for the General Merit (GM) category was approximately 20,042. For AI & ML, the closing rank was around 23,121 (GM). For Information Science and Engineering, it was around 25,000–30,000. KCET cutoffs vary yearly based on competition and seat availability. SC/ST and OBC category cutoffs are significantly higher (more relaxed). Candidates should check the official KEA website for exact round-wise data.

The fee at AIT depends on the admission quota. For KCET (government/state quota) Karnataka domicile students, the annual fee is approximately INR 80,000/year (total INR 3.20 lakh for 4 years). For COMEDK (all-India) students, it is INR 2,60,000/year (total INR 10.40 lakh). For management quota admissions, the fee has been increased to INR 4,40,000/year from 2025 (total INR 17.60 lakh). Hostel charges are additional, ranging from INR 80,000–1,50,000 per year depending on room type.

AIT Bangalore has an 85–90% placement rate annually. In 2024-25, the highest package was INR 65 LPA, with an average package of around INR 6 LPA and a median of INR 4.10 LPA (per NIRF 2025). Over 550 companies participate in campus placement drives. Top recruiters include Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, HCL, Dell, Bosch, Volvo, EY, HSBC, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
