Admission Process
BAMS admission at BMAMH, Nagpur is NEET-UG based, conducted entirely through the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra (MAHCET) Centralised Admission Process (CAP): Register on cetcell.mahacet.org → Upload documents → Participate in CAP Rounds (Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and Online Stray Vacancy Rounds) → Receive seat allotment based on NEET rank, category, preferences, and available seats → Report to 14, Rajendra Nagar, Great Nag Road, Nandanwan, Nagpur — 440009 within the stipulated joining deadline → Submit original documents for verification → Pay prescribed fee and complete enrolment. 85% of seats are State Quota seats; 15% are Institutional Quota seats filled on an All India basis including OMS, NRI, and OCI candidates through Competent Authority CAP rounds. For MD/MS PG: qualify AIAPGET (conducted by NTA) → apply through State CET Cell Maharashtra CAP for PG Ayurveda (70% State Quota; 15% Institutional Quota; 15% All India Quota via AACCC) → document verification and seat allotment.

BAMS Admission 2026 at BMAMH Nagpur — Maharashtra CAP Process via State CET Cell

  • Qualify NEET-UG — minimum 50th percentile for Open/General category (40th percentile for SC/ST/reserved categories under NCISM norms); as per Maharashtra CAP eligibility, minimum 50% aggregate in PCB at 10+2 for Open/EWS (40% for SC/ST/reserved).
  • Register on the State CET Cell Maharashtra website (cetcell.mahacet.org) by paying the Application Processing Fee (INR 1,000 for State Quota; INR 5,000 for Institutional Quota; INR 6,000 for both).
  • Complete online document upload — NEET admit card, NEET result, SSC/HSC certificates, Nationality/Domicile Certificate, Aadhaar, Medical Fitness Certificate, Caste Certificate and CVC/NCL (for reserved categories), EWS certificate, and any applicable specified reservation documents.
  • Participate in Maharashtra CAP Rounds (Round 1, Round 2, Round 3): fill fresh preferences before each round, listing Bhau Saheb Mulak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Nandanwan, Nagpur as a preference.
