Required Entrance Exams

NEET UG

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 PCB with minimum 50% marks (General/EWS/OBC); 40% for SC/ST/PwD. Age: minimum 17 years by December 31 of admission year.
Admission Process
15% seats (30 seats) via MCC AIQ online counselling at mcc.nic.in. 85% seats (170 seats) via West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) online counselling at wbmcc.nic.in. Process: Online Registration → Document Verification (at designated GMCs across WB) → Choice Filling & Locking → Seat Allotment → Reporting to College. Multiple counselling rounds including Rounds 1, 2, 3 (Final), and Stray Vacancy Round.

Important Notice

Admission is purely merit-based on NEET UG All India Rank. Detailed admission lists for All India Quota and WB State Quota are published annually on the official college website at bmcgov.com.

MBBS with completed compulsory rotating internship; valid NEET PG score. Must hold WB Medical Council / NMC registration.
Admission Process
50% seats via MCC AIQ PG counselling at mcc.nic.in. 50% seats via West Bengal State PG Counselling (WBMCC). Application form for MD/MS is available on the official BMC website. Candidates must submit Sponsorship Certificate from State Govt. if applicable.

Important Notice

PG Bond (Service Bond) must be submitted along with admission formalities on Rs.100 non-judicial stamp paper (duly notarised). Format available on official website.
