Courses Offered at Chanakya University
Eligibility for B.Tech requires candidates to have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with admission offered through multiple routes: Karnataka's KCET, COMED-K, a valid JEE Main score, or the university's own Management Quota direct admission route. Notably, the fee structure differs meaningfully between the KCET quota and the Management quota for the same specialization, following the Prof. Karisiddappa Committee regulations agreed between the Government of Karnataka and the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges' Association (KUPECA).
On the non-engineering side, the university offers a range of four-year honours degrees including BA, BBA, B.Com, BSc, and BCA across its Arts, Management, and Sciences schools, along with a five-year integrated BA LLB / BBA LLB (Hons.) through the School of Law, Governance and Public Policy. Postgraduate offerings include the two-year MBA, MCA, M.Com, M.Sc (Data Science, Psychology), MA (various specializations including Economics, Sanskrit, and Media Studies), and a distinctive one-year Chanakya Fellowship -- a PG Diploma in Social Science delivered through the School of Law, Governance and Public Policy.
- B.Tech - CSE, CSE & AI, Electrical & Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical & Aerospace, Electronics (VLSI), Biotechnology
- BA / BBA / B.Com / BSc / BCA (Hons.) - 4 Year Undergraduate Degrees
- BA LLB / BBA LLB (Hons.) - 5 Year Integrated Law
- MBA / MCA / M.Com / M.Sc (Data Science, Psychology) - 2 Year Postgraduate Degrees
- PG Diploma in Social Science - Chanakya Fellowship (1 Year)
Given the meaningful fee variation across specializations, quotas (KCET vs Management), and even academic years (fees for the same programme can differ between AY 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27 cohorts), applicants are strongly encouraged to check the current-year, specialization-wise fee structure directly on the official website before applying, since Chanakya University publishes and revises its detailed fee tables for each new admission cycle.
