Scholarships at Chanakya University
Beyond its own merit-cum-means scholarship, Chanakya University has established fee-financing partnerships with Techfino Capital Private Limited (TCPL) and Propelld, two education-focused lending companies, to help students manage the cost of tuition through structured EMI options. The Propelld partnership allows loans of up to Rs. 30 lakh without requiring collateral, covering both course fee and hostel fee combined (provided the total does not exceed Rs. 30 lakh), with a repayment tenure of up to 10 years and loan approval within 72 hours through a fully digital process available to students in any year of study.
- Chanakya Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (partial to full fee waiver)
- Techfino Capital (TCPL) EMI Plan - 6, 10, 18, or 24 month instalments, no security required
- Propelld Education Loan - up to Rs. 30 lakh, no collateral, up to 10-year tenure
- Government of Karnataka / Central Post-Matric Scholarships (SC/ST/OBC/Minority, where applicable)
Separately, the Techfino Capital plan offers easy EMI options for annual school fee payments across 6, 10, 18, or 24 monthly instalments, with no security required and on-the-spot approval through a fully digital and paperless process. Students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, or minority categories may additionally be eligible for applicable Government of Karnataka or central government post-matric scholarship schemes, independent of the university's own merit-cum-means scheme and EMI financing partnerships.
Applicants are encouraged to apply for the Chanakya Merit-cum-Means Scholarship at the time of admission and to separately explore the Techfino or Propelld EMI options if fee financing would ease their overall cost of attendance, since the university has also noted that students are eligible for education loans through major nationalised banks and the Vidyalakshmi Portal, given its UGC and Government of Karnataka approved status. For the most current scholarship percentages and financing terms, candidates should consult the admissions office directly alongside reviewing the university's fee structure.
