Yes. Ragging is strictly not tolerated at COMJNMH and can lead to expulsion of the student involved. UGC and NMC anti-ragging guidelines are followed strictly.

In 2025 (Round 3), the AIQ General category closing rank was 20,065. In 2024 (Round 3), it was 17,092. In 2023 (Round 3), it was 13,686. The cutoff has been rising each year as the college gains reputation.

Yes. Gandhi Memorial Hospital was added as a second clinical training campus in 2013, expanding the clinical exposure available to MBBS and PG students beyond the primary JNM Hospital campus.

COMJNMH is unique among West Bengal government medical colleges in that it is a constituent institution of the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS). Both the college and the JNM Hospital are directly funded and managed by WBUHS and the Government of West Bengal, rather than the state Health Department.
