Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), is one of India's oldest and most prestigious engineering institutions, established in 1941. It was granted full state university status by the Government of NCT of Delhi in 2009. DTU is a government university fully funded by the Delhi Government, spread across a 164-acre campus at Shahbad Daulatpur, Bawana Road, Delhi–110042. It is accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade, NBA, UGC-recognized, and AICTE-approved.

The official DTU B.Tech fee for AY2025-26 (per the official notification F.No. DTU/Reg/Univ.Adm.Com./2023-24/133 dated 12.06.2025) is ₹2,47,700/year in the first year (Tuition ₹1,63,000 + Student Welfare ₹22,000 + Facilities & Services ₹36,000 + EWS Fund ₹10,000 + Examination ₹15,000 + DTU Medi-claim ₹700 + Alumni Association one-time ₹1,000). Year 2 (AY2026-27): ₹2,68,700; Year 3 (AY2027-28): ₹2,86,700; Year 4 (AY2028-29): ₹3,06,700. Total 4-year B.Tech cost: approximately ₹10,11,100. Hostel fees are separate: ₹52,000–₹72,000/year depending on room type.

B.Tech admissions at DTU are exclusively through JEE Main scores followed by JAC Delhi counselling at jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in. There is NO management quota — all admissions are 100% merit-based. 85% of seats are reserved for Delhi Region candidates (Class 12 from NCT Delhi schools); 15% are for Outside Delhi candidates. For DTU CSE, the 2025 JAC Delhi closing rank was approximately 11,352 (Delhi General, Round 5). NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign students can apply through the DASA scheme based on SAT scores.
