Internship stipend: INR 21,840/month as per GMERS norms (CEO letter dated 06/09/2024). Post-MBBS, graduates must complete compulsory rural/government service as per Gujarat state government bond policy. The financial penalty for non-compliance is as specified in the bond signed at admission. Bond is applicable to all GMERS institutions. PG (Diploma DNB) residents may receive stipend as per GMERS norms; PG bond terms are less stringent than MBBS bond.

Admission (SFI & NRI) is through Central Admission Committee (medadmgujarat.org) by merits only. There is no management quota. Even after last counseling, if seat is vacant, admission is not given by this institute. Separate boys' and girls' hostels with capacity of 350 each are available within the 28-acre campus. Rooms are furnished with table, chair, cupboard, and bed. Facilities include in-house mess and canteen (hygienic meals), gymnasium, volleyball court, badminton court, indoor games (table tennis, carrom), internet/Wi-Fi, 24-hour water supply, and security.
