Shri Bahubali Vidhyapeeth's J.V. Mandal's Grameen Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre (GAMCH & RC) was established in 1997–98 by the Shree Bahubali Vidyapeeth J.V. Mandal Trust, making it one of the oldest private Ayurvedic medical colleges in North Karnataka.
The college offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), a 5.5-year undergraduate programme (including 1 year of compulsory rotating internship) with 60 sanctioned seats per year.
The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore, Karnataka, and is approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. It is also recognized by the Government of Karnataka under G.O. No. AKUK 224 PIM 96.
Candidates must have 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC/Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B students as per Karnataka government norms). A valid NEET-UG score is mandatory. The minimum age is 17 years and maximum is 45 years at the time of admission.
