Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun traces its roots to 1993, when its founder, Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Ghanshala, started the Graphic Era Computer Centre in a Dehradun suburb with two computers and an INR 29,000 fund, offering AutoCAD/graphics training to ONGC officers.
