10+2 (PCB + English) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC); minimum age 17 years by December 31 of admission year; valid NEET UG scorecard. HK region domicile requirement applies for 70% of state quota seats (Article 371(J)).
Admission Process
NEET UG-based counselling. 85% of seats filled through KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) State Quota counselling — 70% of state quota reserved for HK region candidates (Kalaburagi, Bidar, Raichur, Yadgir, Koppal, Ballari districts). 15% seats through MCC (All India Quota) counselling open to all India candidates. KEA conducts 4 rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. No NRI, OCI, or Management quota at GIMS.
