Jamia Hamdard University offers merit-based scholarships for high-performing students across all faculties including HIMSR. Students apply via the Jamia Hamdard official website. Per SelectYourUniversity: 'HIMSR provides 5 different types of scholarships to students who perform well in academics and to those who are in financial need based on their merits.'

The Hamdard National Foundation (HNF) is one of the sponsoring bodies of HIMSR. HNF may offer financial support to deserving students — particularly Muslim Minority candidates with financial constraints. Students must apply through the college administration with income proof documents.

Muslim minority students at HIMSR may avail Maulana Azad National Fellowship (for PG students) or Scholarships for Minorities (NSP portal) for which Jamia Hamdard as a minority institution is eligible. Applied via NSP at scholarships.gov.in.

Central government NSP scheme for SC/ST students. Note: HIMSR's high MBBS fee (₹16 lakh/year) means the scholarship covers only a fraction of the total cost. SC/ST students at HIMSR may need supplementary financial support through education loans.
