Admission to the two-year PGP at IIM Rohtak begins with a minimum overall CAT percentile that varies by category. These values act as the eligibility threshold for registration for the personal interview process. IIM Rohtak does not apply sectional cutoffs, so only the overall percentile is considered at this stage. The table shows the minimum percentiles for PGP Batch 17 (2026-28), based on CAT 2025 scores.

Meeting the minimum percentile only allows a candidate to register; it does not guarantee a call or an admission. The final merit list is prepared from a weighted aggregate of three components. The CAT percentile has a weight of 60%, the personal interview has a weight of 20%, and academic diversity and gender diversity together have a weight of 20%. Category-wise merit lists are prepared as per the reservation norms, and offers are made strictly on rank and the availability of seats in each category. For this batch the total number of seats is 264.
Because the institute selects candidates on a composite score, a candidate with a percentile higher than the minimum has a better chance, but a strong interview and a diverse academic or professional profile can also improve the final score. Applicants should therefore work on their interview preparation, including current affairs, business awareness and the ability to explain their academic and work history clearly.
IPM and IPL Selection
For the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management, the cutoff depends on performance in the IPM Aptitude Test. The final score gives 55% weight to the aptitude test, 15% to the personal interview, 20% to Class 12 marks and 10% to Class 10 marks. The Five-Year Integrated Programme in Law admits students on the basis of CLAT or the IPM Aptitude Test, with an interview and academic records also considered. IPM has 198 seats and IPL Batch 06 (2026-31) has 120 seats.
The cutoff values may change in each admission cycle, so candidates should read the admission policy of the batch they are applying for. Applicants who have scores close to the threshold should apply to several institutes and keep their documents ready.
