Admission Process at IIM Rohtak

PGP (MBA) Admission

For PGP Batch 17 (2026-28) the total number of seats is 264. A candidate needs a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST and DAP candidates) and a valid CAT 2025 score that meets the minimum percentile for the category. The registration fee is Rs 3,095 and registration ran from 26 December 2025 to 9 January 2026. The process has five stages: online registration, personal interview for shortlisted candidates, preparation of the merit list, offer of provisional admission and reporting for joining.

General: CAT percentile of 97 or above
EWS: 93 or above and NC-OBC: 83 or above
SC: 60 or above and ST: 50 or above
DAP-General: 87, DAP-EWS: 83, DAP-NC-OBC: 73, DAP-SC: 50 and DAP-ST: 40

The merit list is based on a weighted aggregate in which the CAT percentile carries 60%, the personal interview carries 20% and academic and gender diversity together carry 20%. Final offers are made strictly on rank and the availability of seats in each category.

IPM and IPL Admission

The Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management admits 198 students on the basis of the IPM Aptitude Test followed by a personal interview. Applicants need at least 60% marks in Class 10 and Class 12 (55% for SC, ST and DAP candidates). The final merit list gives 55% weight to the IPM Aptitude Test, 15% to the interview, 20% to Class 12 and 10% to Class 10. The Five-Year Integrated Programme in Law admits 120 students for Batch 06 (2026-31) through CLAT or the IPM Aptitude Test, with the same minimum marks and a maximum age of 20 years as on 30 June 2026.

Executive and Doctoral Programmes

The One-Year PGPx is open to working professionals with a bachelor's degree and relevant experience, and it carries a non-refundable application fee of Rs 2,500. The ePGDSM requires a bachelor's degree with 50% marks and a sports aptitude assessment, and relevant experience is an added advantage. The Doctoral Programme in Management selects candidates through national entrance scores and a research-oriented interview.
