Yes. IIT Guwahati is a fully residential campus. It has 14 hostels in total — 11 for boys and 2 for girls, plus a Married Scholar Hostel. All hostels are named after rivers and tributaries of Northeast India (e.g., Brahmaputra, Manas, Subansiri, Dhansiri). Each hostel has a mess, canteen, juice centre, library, TV room, gymnasium, laundry, and indoor games facilities. Every room has high-speed LAN internet. Hostel charges are approximately INR 14,100 per semester.
