IIT Jodhpur's 852-acre permanent campus is the first fully planned campus among all technical institutes in India, inaugurated in August 2017. Designed with climate-responsive red sandstone architecture suited for the Rajasthan desert, it has won the prestigious GRIHA Exemplary Performance Award for sustainability. The campus houses 17 hostels with a residential capacity of 4,000 students, all with air-conditioned, WiFi-enabled, fully furnished rooms.

B.Tech admission at IIT Jodhpur is based on JEE Advanced rank via JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. Candidates must first clear JEE Main to qualify for JEE Advanced. Class 12 eligibility requires minimum 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or being within the top 20 percentile of the respective board. The 2025 CSE closing rank (General) was 2918, while AI & Data Science closed at 3698.

Yes. The School of Management & Entrepreneurship (SME) at IIT Jodhpur offers a 2-year full-time MBA programme launched in 2020. Admission is based on CAT score followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The MBA covers Macro Economics, Global Economy, Human Capital, Marketing, and Finance. In 2025, the MBA highest placement was INR 25.11 LPA with top recruiters including American Express, EY, Deloitte, Accenture, Royal Enfield, and Hyundai. Total fees are approximately INR 8.25 lakh.
