Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) was established by an Act of Delhi Legislature (IIIT-Delhi Act, 2007) and is a State University empowered to grant degrees. The General Council is chaired by the Hon'ble Lt. Governor of Delhi. Located at Okhla Phase III, New Delhi – 110020, IIIT-Delhi is a research-led teaching institution focused on Information Technology and allied areas. IIIT-Delhi offers 9 B.Tech programmes: CSE, ECE, CSAM, CSD, CSSS, CSB, CSAI, EVE, CSEcon; 4 M.Tech programmes: CSE, M.Tech Research (CSE), ECE, Computational Biology (CB); Ph.D. programmes across all departments; and PG Diploma programmes in CS&AI (online, with Great Learning) and DSHCS. Health Centre (Infirmary)
24x7 on-campus Infirmary at the ground floor of the Girls' Hostel. Provides primary medical care, first aid, routine consultations, and emergency referrals for students, faculty, and staff both hostellers and day scholars. A doctor and nurse are available during specific hours; 24x7 emergency coverage is maintained.
IT Infrastructure and Data Centre
High-speed internet: 1 Gbps bandwidth dedicated. Campus-wide high-speed fibre optic network. Data centre with 40+ servers and 45TB+ storage. Latest research software including MATLAB, Ansys, CAD tools, bioinformatics software, and more. Integrated Institute Management System on SaaS. Wi-Fi across entire campus. CCTV surveillance. Smart laundry machines (IoT-controlled Haier, accessible via Haier Wash App).
Sports Block — Indoor Swimming Pool
State-of-the-art Sports Block featuring a half-Olympic size indoor swimming pool with changing rooms, appointed coach and lifeguards. The Sports Block also has two squash courts, a spacious badminton court, gym, yoga room, TT tables (3), pool tables (2), and 16 guest rooms. One of the very few engineering colleges in Delhi with an on-campus indoor pool.
Lecture Hall Block
Six-storey Lecture Hall Block: one 500-seat auditorium, two 300-seat lecture theatres, three 160-180 seater halls, four 120-seater halls, plus classrooms and instruction labs. Became operational in August 2018. Houses classrooms with modern AV equipment. Multiple smaller seminar rooms also available in the Seminar Block.
Green Campus — GRIHA Rated
IIIT-Delhi's campus is GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) rated with zero-discharge infrastructure. Features: solar power plants on terraces of all new buildings, rainwater harvesting, sewage treatment plants, heat pumps, and sustainable landscaping. AICTE Clean and Smart Campus Award winner for 3 consecutive years. Built-up area: 100,000 sq. metres across all blocks.
IIITD Innovation and Incubation Centre
Supported by DST, MEITY, and Government of Delhi (Rs. 4.21 crore earmarked). Provides incubation support, seed funding, infrastructure, mentoring, and investor connections to students, faculty, and alumni of IIIT-Delhi. Several successful startups have been incubated here. Startup Fair (annual) and ECELL actively drive entrepreneurial culture. The IIITD campus innovation ecosystem has received recognition from the Government of India.
