Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT Delhi) Admissions 2026, Courses, Fees & Cutoffs

Students who are beneficiaries of the National Food Security Scheme may avail a partial tuition fee scholarship from their 2nd year onwards at IIIT-Delhi. Documentation of NFSS card required.

Government of Delhi scholarship and fee waiver schemes for SC/ST/EWS students apply at IIIT-Delhi. Students must submit income and caste certificates. Additional external scholarships also available through NSP (National Scholarship Portal).

GATE-qualified M.Tech students are eligible for Teaching Assistantship (TA) stipend of Rs. 12,400/month, which substantially offsets the M.Tech tuition cost of Rs. 4,00,000/year. TA involves assisting faculty with labs, tutorials, and assessments for 20 hours per week.

IIIT-Delhi encourages female candidates by offering 50% tuition fee scholarship to top 100 female students who scored more than 95% aggregate in Class XII Board Exams. Scholarship continues from 2nd year onwards with additional T&C.

IIIT-Delhi provides 100% tuition fee scholarship to students with JEE Main rank below 1,000. Additional terms and conditions apply. Scholarship continues for all 4 years subject to academic performance. This is one of the most generous merit scholarships among Delhi engineering institutions.

Full-time Ph.D. students receive monthly research fellowship from IIIT-Delhi / DST / MEITY funding. Continuation subject to satisfactory research progress. Also includes partial hostel fee support.

Students with JEE Main rank between 1,000 and 2,000 receive a 50% tuition fee scholarship for all 4 years at IIIT-Delhi, subject to additional terms and conditions on academic performance.

The IIITD Innovation and Incubation Centre (IIITD-IC) supported by DST, MEITY, and Delhi Government provides seed funding, co-working space, mentorship, and connections to investors. Designed to convert research into commercially viable products. Several successful startups have emerged from IIITD-IC.
