Placement Statistics

According to the Mandatory Disclosure 2026-27, 31 MCA students were placed with an average package of Rs. 3.5 lakh per year, and 12 MCA students chose higher studies. For MBA, 30 students were placed with an average package of Rs. 5 lakh per year, and 26 students opted for higher studies. The institute has not published a highest-package figure in its disclosure. Placement Eligibility and Policy

Students who wish to participate in placements must maintain at least 75% attendance in every semester, must have cleared all internal and external examinations, and must attend all training sessions organised by the Placement Cell. Registration takes place at the start of the academic year, and students submit updated resumes. The process includes pre-placement talks, applications, selection rounds such as written tests, group discussions and interviews, and finally offer letters. Students are expected to follow the dress code and professional conduct during all placement activities.

Skill Development for Employability

JIM supports placement outcomes through its Skill Bridge initiatives, including the Sustainability and Innovation Cell, the Research and Mentorship Cell and an Internship Programme, as well as NISM training and NPTEL courses. MBA students complete a summer training project in the third semester, and an industrial visit calendar covers organisations such as the Ordnance Factory in Kanpur, Gyan Dairy and TCS Lucknow. Together these activities aim to build communication, aptitude, programming and problem-solving skills that recruiters look for.
