Awards
The university also lists awards from media and education groups. These include the Premier University award at the Zee 24 Ghanta Education Excellence 2026, the Excellence in Academics through Experiential Pedagogy award at the ABP Ananda Shikha Samman 2024, and the University of the Year - East recognition from the ASSOCHAM National Council of Education. Such awards reflect the visibility of the university, but they are not the same as official accreditation or national ranking.
Applicants should note that the website provides NAAC and NBA related documents on its accreditation page, and a prospective student who values these should read the documents directly and confirm the current status. The ranking of a particular programme matters more than the overall reputation of the university, so engineering and management applicants should compare the programme outcomes, faculty and placement data with other colleges. For more details, see the placement record.
Because rankings and awards change every year, readers should confirm the latest position on the official NIRF website and the university's accreditation and ranking page. The university's own claims should be treated as the institution's statement and not as independent verification. For more details, see the ranking and approval.
