Boradi, where the college is located, is a village in Tal. Shirpur, Dist. Dhule, situated in the foothills of the Satpuda mountain ranges — one of the most biologically rich and tribally populated zones in Maharashtra. The college's founding in 1972 in this remote location, at a time when there were no roads or transport to Boradi, was a remarkable act of social vision. For students from Dhule, Jalgaon, Nandurbar, Shirpur, and the surrounding North Maharashtra tribal belt, KVTR Ayurved College is the most historically embedded, geographically convenient, and community-trusted Ayurvedic institution in the region.
