10+2 (PCB + English) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC); IB/A-Level/US Grade 12 equivalents accepted; minimum age 17 years; valid NEET UG score; Indian, NRI, OCI, PIO, and Foreign National candidates eligible.
Admission Process
100% of MBBS seats at KMC Manipal are filled through MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) Deemed University All India counselling — open to all India candidates. No KEA Karnataka state quota (unlike KMC Mangalore). No direct/management/capitation seats — all strictly merit-based. MCC conducts 4–5 rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 (Mop-Up), Stray Vacancy, Special Stray Vacancy. Candidates register on mcc.nic.in, fill preferences, and are allotted by NEET merit. NRI/Foreign candidates register separately on MCC NRI portal. No direct admission from college. NEET score of 510–520+ marks recommended for realistic chances at general category seats.
