Required Entrance Exams

NEET UG

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with PCB and English; minimum 50% (General/EWS/OBC) or 40% (SC/ST/PH) aggregate in PCB; NEET-UG qualified; age 17+ as on 31st December of admission year
Admission Process
All MBBS admissions at Kiran Medical College are conducted through ACPUGMEC (medadmgujarat.org) for State/Government Quota and Management Quota, and through MCC (mcc.nic.in) for AIQ seats. Step 1: Register on ACPUGMEC portal. Step 2: Document verification at designated Help Centre. Step 3: Choice filling online. Step 4: Participate in seat allotment rounds (Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, Stray Vacancy). Step 5: Report to KMC Surat with documents, execute bond and pay fees. Tuition fees are to be paid every 6 months as per FRC regulations.

Important Notice

All admissions are strictly through ACPUGMEC/MCC — no direct admission by the college. Compulsory rural service bond must be fulfilled after completing MBBS internship. Bond penalty applicable if service is not completed before medical council registration or PG studies. Hostel is optional — AC (Rs.1,63,000/year) and Non-AC (Rs.1,26,000/year) options available.

Admission Process
50% All India Quota via MCC PG counselling (mcc.nic.in). 50% Gujarat State Quota via ACPPGMEC (Gujarat state PG counselling portal). Online registration, document verification, multi-round seat allotment. PG admissions commenced from AY 2025-26 following NMC PG seat sanction.

Important Notice

PG courses (MD/MS) commenced from AY 2025-26 with NMC sanction. NRI Quota is NOT applicable for PG courses (NA as per Image 2). PG fees are to be paid every 6 months as per FRC. Exact PG seat counts per specialty are available from the official NMC sanction letter and ACPPGMEC seat matrix.
