Admission to the BAMS programme at KLE AMC Chikodi is entirely merit-based and conducted through NEET (UG), with two counselling streams: the 15% All India Quota (15 seats out of 100) is filled through AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee) counselling, and the remaining 85% (85 seats — State Open Merit Quota, Management Quota, and NRI Quota) are filled through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) AYUSH (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) Counselling at kea.kar.nic.in.

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 / PUC with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English; minimum 50% marks in PCB aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC, 45% for General-PwD, 40% for reserved-PwD); qualifying NEET (UG) score at 50th percentile (40th percentile SC/ST/OBC; 45th percentile General-PwD; 40th percentile reserved-PwD); age 17–25 years as on 31 December of the admission year (5-year upper-age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/disabled).
Admission Process
Qualify NEET (UG) conducted by NTA → Register online for either AACCC (All India Quota, 15 seats) or Karnataka KEA AYUSH (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) Counselling (State Quota + Management Quota + NRI Quota, 85 seats) → Complete biometric and document verification at the designated KEA/AACCC helpline centre → Fill college preferences, listing KLE Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Chikodi → Seat allotment based on NEET rank, category, and seat availability → Report to KLE AMC Chikodi with original documents within the allotment deadline → Pay prescribed fee and complete enrolment formalities → Admission confirmed. Important Notice

All admissions — including Management Quota and NRI Quota seats — must be filled through centralised AACCC or KEA AYUSH counselling. Direct or off-counselling admission is not permitted under NCISM regulations. Five percent of Government/Government-aided institution annual intake is reserved for candidates with specified disabilities under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016.

BAMS Admission 2026 at KLE Ayurveda Medical College, Chikodi — NEET & KEA AYUSH Counselling Process

  • Qualify NEET (UG) conducted by NTA — minimum 50th percentile General category (40th percentile SC/ST/OBC; 45th percentile General-PwD; 40th percentile reserved-PwD).
  • Register for either AACCC counselling (All India Quota, 15 seats) or Karnataka KEA AYUSH counselling (State/Management/NRI Quota, 85 seats) through the respective official portals.
  • Complete biometric verification and document upload as required by the counselling authority.
