The BAMS programme is structured across three professional examinations of 18 months each, covering all fourteen academic departments of Ayurveda, followed by a compulsory 12-month Rotatory Internship conducted at the attached KLE Ayurveda Hospital. The internship rotates students through all major OPD and IPD departments, including Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Shalya, Shalakya, Prasuti & Stree Roga, Kaumarbhritya, and Swasthavritta — giving them supervised, direct patient-care experience across the full clinical spectrum of Ayurveda before graduation.
