KIMS Koppal is a pure government college with no NRI or Management quota. MBBS: 85% via KEA Karnataka State Quota; 15% via MCC AIQ (open to all India). ⚠️ ARTICLE 371(J) HK RESERVATION: As KIMS Koppal is located in the HK region, 70% of state quota seats are reserved for students from the 6 HK districts (Koppal, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Raichur, Yadgir, Ballari). Of this 70%, 50% is General Merit HK and the remaining is for SC/ST/OBC from HK districts. The effective open (non-HK) Karnataka state quota seats are only ~30% of state quota.
