BAMS - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
BAMS is the flagship undergraduate programme at B.V. Kale Ayurved College, with an annual intake of 60 students. The programme spans 5.5 years - 4.5 years of academic study divided into four professional years, followed by a mandatory one-year rotating clinical internship in the attached hospital. The BAMS curriculum as prescribed by NCISM covers Ayurvedic fundamental principles (Siddhanta), Rachana and Kriya Sharir (anatomy and physiology), Dravyaguna (Ayurvedic pharmacology and materia medica), Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana (pharmaceutics), Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Shalya and Shalakya Tantra, Stri Roga and Prasuti Tantra, Kaumarabhritya, Swasthavritta (preventive medicine), and Agadtantra (forensic medicine).

MD Ayurveda - Rachana Sharir (Postgraduate)
The postgraduate MD Ayurveda programme in Rachana Sharir is a 3-year full-time programme with an annual intake of 4 students. This specialisation focuses on advanced study of Ayurvedic anatomy, structural physiology, and related research. Candidates must be BAMS graduates from an NCISM-recognized institution, have completed their internship, hold a valid NCISM registration, and qualify in NEET PG.
