MRMC is a private RGUHS-affiliated college (semi-government in character, run by HKES). MBBS admissions through KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) for all quota seats: Government (state) quota, Management quota, and NRI quota. KEA conducts 4 rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy. ⚠️ ARTICLE 371(J) HK RESERVATION: 70% of state quota MBBS seats reserved for HK-region candidates (Kalaburagi, Bidar, Raichur, Yadgir, Koppal, Ballari). Only ~30% of state quota seats open to non-HK Karnataka candidates. Non-Karnataka candidates eligible for Management and NRI quota. PG admissions: 50% via MCC AIQ; 50% via KEA Karnataka State Quota.
