MACEN is built around the idea of a fully functional academic-cum-clinical campus, so that students get structured exposure to both classroom learning and real patient care within the same site. Located opposite the Nashik-Aurangabad Highway at Eklahare, the campus combines dedicated teaching infrastructure — an administrative section, lecture halls, a seminar hall, and a library — with an attached 60-bed hospital for clinical exposure, a herbal garden for practical pharmacognosy training, and everyday student-facing amenities including a hostel, canteen, and college bus service. The list below summarises the principal facilities available to BAMS students on campus.
Campus Infrastructure
Campus Infrastructure & Facilities

Matoshri Ayurved Hospital – 60-Bed Attached Teaching Hospital
A well-equipped attached Ayurvedic hospital with 60 indoor beds, offering Outpatient (OPD) and Inpatient (IPD) services across departments including Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Dravyaguna, Rasashastra, Agadtantra, and Swasthavritta. Students gain supervised clinical exposure and hands-on patient interaction as part of their BAMS training, and the hospital serves the healthcare needs of Eklahare and surrounding rural and semi-urban communities around Nashik.

Herbal Garden – Dravyaguna Teaching & Research
A dedicated on-campus herbal garden used extensively for Dravyaguna teaching, plant identification practicals, and student research, giving BAMS students direct field exposure to classical Ayurvedic materia medica within the campus itself, in line with NCISM's practical-training expectations for pharmacognosy education.

Library
A dedicated library housing Ayurvedic classical texts, modern medical journals, and reference material aligned to the MUHS BAMS syllabus, supporting student research, seminar preparation, and exam study across all three professional years.

Teaching Pharmacy & Quality Testing Laboratory
A dedicated teaching pharmacy and quality-testing laboratory used for Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana practicals, where students learn classical Ayurvedic pharmaceutical preparation methods alongside basic quality-testing techniques for medicinal formulations.

Lecture Halls, Seminar Hall & Administrative Section
Modern lecture halls and a dedicated seminar hall support classroom instruction and academic events such as CME programmes and conferences, while a separate administrative section handles admissions, examinations, and day-to-day institutional administration.

Student Life and Campus Environment
Beyond the core academic and clinical infrastructure, MACEN's location — opposite the Nashik-Aurangabad Highway yet within Nashik's municipal limits — is frequently highlighted as a practical advantage, combining highway accessibility with a relatively calm, less congested campus setting compared to a purely city-centre college. Regular institutional activities, including International Yoga Day observances, the Rasendra Mangalam programme, World Health Day and Ayurved Din celebrations, Entrepreneurship Development Cell sessions, and the Prakruti Parikshan Abhiyaan community health screening drive, are conducted to supplement classroom learning with real-world clinical and community engagement. The combination of a dedicated herbal garden, an operational 60-bed teaching hospital, and a genuinely campus-based residential option through the hostel makes MACEN a practical environment for students who want structured support through their 66-month BAMS journey while remaining close to a major Maharashtra city.
Infrastructure Supporting Day-to-Day Academic Life
Beyond the flagship facilities listed above, MACEN's day-to-day academic rhythm is supported by additional infrastructure typical of a well-organised professional college. Departmental laboratories are maintained separately across Anatomy, Physiology, Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, and Dravyaguna, allowing practical batches to work without overlapping schedules — an important consideration for a college running a full 100-seat annual intake across three professional years simultaneously. The library's collection of Ayurvedic classical texts and modern reference material is periodically updated to align with MUHS's evolving syllabus, supporting students preparing case presentations, seminars, and their mandatory research methodology coursework. The seminar hall additionally hosts CME programmes and academic conferences that bring practising Ayurvedic professionals onto campus, supplementing the regular teaching schedule with practitioner perspectives. The college bus service and canteen reduce day-to-day logistical friction for both hostel residents and day-scholars commuting from Nashik city, while the administrative section handles admissions, fee processing, and examination-related coordination in step with MUHS and CET Cell timelines. Together, this infrastructure reflects a campus designed around consistent, practical support for the full BAMS academic and clinical journey rather than standalone showpiece buildings.
