Postgraduate admission to the four M.Tech programmes is generally through Karnataka PGCET or a valid GATE score, with GATE-qualified candidates also eligible for a monthly stipend as per AICTE norms. MBA admission is usually through Karnataka PGCET (management stream) or a recognised national management entrance score, and MCA admission is through Karnataka PGCET (computer applications stream). Applicants should confirm the current year's entrance requirements and cut-off dates with the institute's academic office, since these are set by the state counselling authorities each year. The scholarship section explains the financial support available once admission is confirmed.

Documents generally required at the time of reporting include the Class 10 and Class 12 (or equivalent) mark sheets, the KCET or COMEDK rank card and admission ticket, category and income certificates where applicable, transfer and migration certificates, passport size photographs and the fee payment receipt. Students should keep both originals and photocopies ready. For fee details across the aided, unaided, COMEDK and management quota tiers, see the fee structure page before reporting for admission.
