Scholarships and Fee Assistance – SGR Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Solapur

100% Freeship for Girl Students (EWS Category)

The Government of Maharashtra provides 100% freeship (complete fee waiver) for girl students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category, as per GR dated 30.08.2024. This scheme applies to admission in BAMS at SGR Ayurved Mahavidyalaya. The GR document is available on the UG Admission page of the official website. Eligible students must submit the EWS income and asset certificate at the time of admission.

OBC and Other Category Student Concessions

Students belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) and other backward categories are eligible for fee concessions and scholarship support as per the Maharashtra Government Resolution (GR) dated 31.03.2016. These concessions are applicable to admission in BAMS at SGR Ayurved Mahavidyalaya under the State Quota. Students must submit relevant caste and non-creamy layer certificates at the time of admission.

Minority Student Concessions

As the only Jain Minority Ayurvedic institution in Maharashtra, SGR Ayurved Mahavidyalaya offers special consideration to Jain Minority students as per the Maharashtra Government Resolution (GR) dated 01.07.2013 governing admissions to Minority institutions. Minority students may be eligible for reserved seats, fee concessions, and specific scholarship support under the minority institution framework.

Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students

SC/ST students admitted to BAMS or PG programmes at SGR Ayurved Mahavidyalaya are eligible for the Post-Matric Scholarship from the Government of Maharashtra. This scholarship covers tuition fees and maintenance allowance as per government norms. Applications must be submitted through the Mahadbte portal (mahadbte.net.in) within the stipulated deadlines each academic year.

Central Government Scholarship Schemes

Students may also apply for central government scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at scholarships.gov.in. These include Post-Matric Scholarships for SC/ST students, scholarships for OBC and EBC students, Minority community scholarships, and EWS-based central sector scholarships. Applications must be submitted within the annual deadlines notified by the Ministry of Education and other central government departments.

FRA Regulated Fee Structure
