Out of the sanctioned intake for each programme, 50% of B.Tech., M.Tech. and MCA seats are filled through Silicon University Counselling (SUC) and the remaining 50% through OJEE Counselling (OJEEC), with all Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) seats allotted exclusively through OJEE. iMCA and M.Sc. seats are filled entirely through SUC. B.Tech. (Regular) merit under SUC is calculated as a weighted average of 60% of the NTA/JEE score, 30% of 12th-standard marks and 10% of 10th-standard marks, with a minimum combined 135 marks required in Mathematics, Physics and one vocational subject. Reservation categories under university counselling include 8% for Scheduled Caste, 12% for Scheduled Tribe, 30% Women Quota (within each category), 3% for Physically Challenged candidates and 10% Economically Weaker Section, applicable to natives of Odisha state. Candidates unable to secure a seat through counselling may also apply through Spot Admissions, allotted on a first-come-first-served basis against vacant seats.
