Teaching Hospital (350-Bed Ayurvedic Hospital)
The attached Ayurvedic teaching hospital is a comprehensive multi-speciality facility with a bed strength of 350 beds and 12 specialised OPDs. It serves a large volume of outpatient and inpatient cases across all branches of Ayurveda, providing students with intensive clinical exposure throughout the BAMS programme.

Central Library & Digital Resource Centre
The library houses over 20,000 books of current editions spanning Ayurveda and modern medical literature. Students have access to over 2,000 medical journals through HELINET, along with CINAHL and MEDLINE database access. A dedicated digital library with internet and browsing facilities, supervised by qualified librarians, is also available.

Herbal Garden & Charaka Vana
Spread across approximately 10 acres near Bangalore, the college's herbal garden houses over 400 species of medicinal plants including rare varieties critical to Ayurvedic pharmacology. The Charaka Vana, established in 2003 as per the Charaka Samhita, is a dedicated conservation garden offering hands-on botanical and pharmacognosy training for students.

Panchakarma Therapy Wing
A specialised Panchakarma treatment facility equipped with trained therapists and all necessary treatment modalities for classical Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation therapies. This wing supports both clinical training for students and patient care services.

Classrooms & Seminar Hall
Spacious, well-ventilated classrooms are equipped with blackboards, whiteboards, LCD projectors, and OHP facilitating modern, multi-modal teaching. A dedicated seminar hall and auditorium support academic conferences, workshops, CME programmes, and student events.

Hostel
Separate, well-maintained hostels for male and female students provide comfortable residential facilities. Each hostel includes a visitors' lounge, recreation hall, study hall, prayer hall, indoor games facilities, and a dining hall offering hygienic and varied meals. Students can leave the hostel with the warden's prior consent.

Teaching Hospital
The 350-bed Ayurvedic teaching hospital is the academic centrepiece of SKAMC. It runs 12 specialised OPDs across all major branches of Ayurveda, providing students with rich and varied clinical exposure from the second year of BAMS onward. The hospital offers free food to all in-patients as part of the trust's charitable mission, and maintains a full range of inpatient accommodation categories to serve patients from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
Library & Digital Resource Centre
The college library stocks over 20,000 books of current editions encompassing both classical Ayurveda texts and modern medical sciences. Students also have access to more than 2,000 international medical journals through HELINET, as well as CINAHL and MEDLINE database facilities. A dedicated digital library with internet browsing is available and supervised by qualified librarians.
Herbal Garden and Charaka Vana
Spread across approximately 10 acres near Bangalore, the college's herbal garden houses over 400 species of medicinal plants including rare and endangered varieties critical to Ayurvedic pharmacology. The Charaka Vana — established in 2003 as per the classical Charaka Samhita — is a conservation garden where students receive direct botanical training in Dravyaguna Vignana (pharmacognosy).
Panchakarma Therapy Wing
A fully equipped, dedicated Panchakarma therapy wing with trained and experienced therapists allows students to observe and practise all classical Panchakarma procedures including Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana. The wing also provides patient care services, giving students real-time exposure to therapeutic Panchakarma as it is practised in a clinical setting.
Classrooms and Seminar Hall
Spacious, well-ventilated classrooms equipped with LCD projectors, OHP, and whiteboards support modern multi-modal teaching. A dedicated seminar hall and auditorium accommodate academic conferences, CME programmes, departmental workshops, and student events throughout the year.
Laboratories
Each department of SKAMC operates its own dedicated laboratory. Key laboratories include Clinical Pathology, Bhaishajya Gruha (Pharmacy Lab), and Rachana (Anatomy) Lab. All labs are equipped with mannequins, simulators, models, preserved specimens, anatomical charts, and relevant instruments for hands-on demonstrations and supervised student practice.
Hostel
SKAMC provides separate, well-maintained hostel facilities for male and female students. Each hostel features a visitors' lounge, recreation hall, study hall, prayer hall, indoor games facilities, and a well-maintained dining hall where hygienic, varied meals are served. Students may leave the hostel premises with prior warden consent. Security and a structured daily routine make the hostel environment safe and conducive to academic life.
Ayurveda Pharmacy
An in-house Ayurvedic pharmacy stocking a comprehensive range of classical Ayurvedic formulations and quality patent medicines from reputed manufacturers is available within the college hospital. This facility familiarises students with the practical aspects of Bhaishajya Kalpana (pharmaceutical preparation and dispensing) and ensures patients receive authentic, high-quality Ayurvedic medicines.
