Step 1: Register on KEA portal (kea.kar.nic.in). Registration fee: ₹1,000 (General) / ₹500 (SC/ST/Cat-1/PwD) / ₹5,000 (NRI). Step 2: Document verification at KEA centre (Karnataka domicile) or online (non-Karnataka). Step 3: Pay refundable caution deposit of ₹10,000–₹50,000 (Govt. Quota) or ₹1,00,000 (Private/Mgmt Quota from Round 2 onwards — forfeited if candidate does not join after allotment). Step 4: Fill and lock college choices online. Step 5: KEA publishes allotment result; report to SSIMS&RC with original documents and pay admission fees.

MBBS from NMC-recognized institution; 1 year mandatory internship completed by March 31; minimum 50th percentile for General (40th for reserved); NMC/State Medical Council registration

50% seats via Karnataka KEA State Quota counselling. 50% via Karnataka KEA Management Quota counselling. Non-Karnataka candidates eligible for management/OPN quota only.

MD/MS Degree from NMC-recognized institution in the required specialization; NEET-SS qualified (conducted by NBE, New Delhi)

Admission to DM/MCh Super-Specialty programs via NEET-SS score. DM aspirants must hold MD Degree in required branch; MCh aspirants must hold MS Degree in required branch.
