Admission Process
MBBS admissions at SSPM Medical College via: (A) 15% All India Quota via MCC counselling (mcc.nic.in): register after NEET result, fill preferences including SSPM Medical College Sindhudurg, seat allotment based on rank, download allotment letter, report to college. (B) 85% Maharashtra State + Institutional Quota via CET Cell Maharashtra (cetcell.mahacet.org): register, upload documents, fill preferences, seat allotment across Rounds 1, 2, Mop-up, Stray Vacancy; download allotment letter, pay fees, report with originals. Documents required at time of reporting: NEET UG admit card + scorecard, provisional allotment letter, HSC (12th) certificate and marksheet, SSC (10th) certificate (DOB proof), domicile certificate, nationality certificate / valid Indian passport / school leaving certificate indicating Indian nationality, caste certificate + validity (if applicable), non-creamy layer certificate valid up to 31/03/2026 (for DT-A, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, SEBC, OBC, SBC), EWS certificate (if applicable), PwD certificate (if applicable), Aadhar card, gap certificate on ₹100 stamp paper (if applicable), 8 passport-size photographs, medical fitness certificate from registered medical practitioner, transfer / college leaving certificate from last institution attended, migration certificate (if applicable), conduct and character certificate, defence certificate (if applicable: D1/D2/D3 ex-servicemen certificate / D1/D2 Maharashtra domicile of defence person). NEET UG 2023: R1 = 585, R2 = 541, R3 = 542, Stray = 548. Rising cutoff trend year-on-year reflects increasing preference for SSPM among Maharashtra NEET aspirants in the 580–630 marks range. Rural bond: After MBBS internship completion, candidates must complete compulsory rural service as per Maharashtra government norms for private medical college graduates. Default penalty payable before medical council registration or PG studies — verify current bond terms with SSPM Medical College or DMER Maharashtra at time of admission.
