Post Matric Scholarship — SC/ST/VJ/NT/OBC

Government of India and Maharashtra state Post Matric Scholarship for backward category students pursuing professional education including MBBS. Applied via Mahadbt portal (mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in). Note: for private medical college state quota seats, fee waiver coverage is partial — based on government scholarship quantum vs FRA-approved private college fee (₹7,64,000/year). Difference may need to be self-funded or bridged via education loan.

SC, ST, VJ, NT, OBC category students; family income within prescribed state limits

Full or partial tuition fee coverage as per category and income norms
EWS (Economically Weaker Section) Reservation

As per Maharashtra GR (GAD ROD-4019/CR 31/16-A dated 12 Feb 2019), 10% of state quota seats at private medical colleges including SSPM are reserved for EWS candidates. EWS students admitted in these seats are entitled to fee benefits under the scheme. Applied via CET Cell Maharashtra at time of admission.

Family income below ₹8,00,000/year; not covered under SC/ST/OBC/VJ/NT categories; valid EWS certificate from competent authority

10% seat reservation at state quota fees; fee concession as per Maharashtra EWS norms
Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana — Maharashtra

Maharashtra government merit-cum-means scholarship for meritorious students. Support is extended to eligible students admitted at private NMC-approved MBBS colleges including SSPM. Applied via Mahadbt portal. Verify current quantum and eligibility criteria at time of admission.

Bank officers visit campus for loan processing. Moratorium period available during course + 1 year post-graduation.

All enrolled students; documentation as per bank requirements (admission letter, fee receipt, parent income proof, collateral as applicable)

Education loan up to ₹10–40 lakh (as per bank policy) to cover MBBS tuition and associated costs
