Admissions to both the MBA and MCA programmes at TIMS Lucknow for the 2026-27 session are open and are administered mainly through Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University's centralised process. For MBA, candidates typically qualify through CAT, MAT, XAT or CUET-PG, after which admission is finalised through AKTU counselling; the institute also accepts eligible candidates through a direct-admission route outside formal counselling. For MCA, admission is based on CUET-PG scores followed by AKTU counselling, again with a direct-admission option for eligible candidates. In both cases, the minimum eligibility is 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree for General and OBC category candidates, relaxed to 45% for SC/ST category candidates, in line with AKTU and AICTE norms.
