Post-Matric Scholarship – SC/ST Students

Students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories may apply for the Post-Matric Scholarship under the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Karnataka, or through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) for central government-funded scholarships. The scholarship covers tuition fees and may include a maintenance allowance, subject to the income ceiling and other criteria specified in the relevant government orders for the applicable academic year.

OBC and Backward Class Scholarships

Students from Other Backward Classes (OBC), Backward Communities (Category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B in Karnataka), and minority communities may be eligible for scholarships under the Department of Backward Classes Welfare, Government of Karnataka, or the National Scholarship Portal. Eligibility conditions include annual family income limits and possession of a valid caste and income certificate issued by a competent authority.

From time to time, the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, announces scholarship or stipend schemes for students enrolled in NCISM-approved Ayurvedic programmes. Students are advised to monitor the Ministry of AYUSH official portal and the National Scholarship Portal for current notifications and application deadlines.
