Required Entrance Exams
JEE Main
Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with PCM; minimum 55% in each of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics; English compulsory; JEE Main Paper 1 qualified; Age ≤ 25 years (30 for SC/ST/PwD)
Admission Process
Step 1: JEE Main registration & exam (Jan–Apr). Step 2: JEE Main result. Step 3: GGSIPU online registration at ipu.admissions.nic.in (application fee Rs. 1,500 + counselling fee Rs. 1,000). Step 4: Choice filling of colleges & courses. Step 5: Merit-based seat allotment (JEE Main rank). Step 6: Document verification at USICT. Step 7: Fee payment and seat confirmation. Note: 85% seats for Delhi Region candidates; 15% for outside Delhi. GGSIPU reservation within Delhi: SC-15%, ST-7.5%, OBC-27%, Defence-5%, PwD-5%.
Important Notice
Multiple counselling rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round. Spot round for vacant seats. Online counselling at ipu.admissions.nic.in. JEE Main Score required; IPU CET NO LONGER accepted for B.Tech (except Biotechnology).

GATE-qualified M.Tech students eligible for AICTE/MHRD fellowship of Rs. 12,400/month.
