Admission Process at UPRTOU, Prayagraj
At the time of applying, candidates must upload scanned copies of their qualifying mark sheets and category/domicile certificates where relevant, and must furnish their Aadhaar number, which is mandatory for UGC-DEB ID and Academic Bank of Credits (ABC ID) registration; admission cannot be confirmed without it. MBA and MCA are the two exceptions to the general portal cycle - these are admitted directly by the university on a first-come-first-served basis as applications are received. B.Ed., B.Ed. (Special Education) and M.A. Yoga are admitted only through the university's own entrance test, with a separate counselling schedule published after the result.
All programme fees, the one-time registration fee of Rs. 500, and the examination fee of Rs. 150 per paper must be paid online only, through the university's authorised Bank of Baroda account; cash and bank drafts are not accepted anywhere in the admission process. Fee refunds, where applicable, follow the UGC's prescribed slab-based refund policy, with a flat Rs. 1,000 processing charge deducted in every case. Second and third-year learners must re-register for admission in the same type of session (July or January) in which they were first admitted, ahead of the declaration of their previous year's result.
