BAMS โ Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
BAMS is the flagship undergraduate programme at YAC Kodoli with a total intake of 100 seats per year. The course is 5.5 years in duration, comprising 4.5 years of structured academic training across 15 departments covering both Ayurvedic and allopathic systems of medicine, followed by 1 year of compulsory rotating internship at the attached Yashwant Charitable Hospital (292 beds, NABH accredited). Admission is through NEET UG score via State CET Cell Maharashtra and AACCC. The FRA-approved fee structure for BAMS 2025-26 is available on the official website.
MD and MS (Ayurveda) โ Post Graduate Programmes
YAC Kodoli offers MD (Ayurveda) and MS (Ayurveda) programmes across 19 disciplines, making it one of the colleges with the highest number of PG Ayurveda disciplines in Kolhapur district. PG education was introduced in 2006 with Roga Nidan, Agad Tantra, and Shalakya Tantra. By 2010, eight more disciplines including Kayachikitsa, Shalya Tantra, Prasuti Tantra, Kaumarbhritya, Swasthavritta, Rasashastra, Rachana Sharir, and Ayurved Samhita were added. In 2013, Sharir Kriya, Dravya Guna Vigyana, Panchakarma, and Sangyaharana (Anaesthesia) were introduced. These three-year full-time programmes are recognised by MUHS, NCISM, and CCIM. Ph.D. in Ayurveda
YAC Kodoli is an approved Ph.D. research centre offering doctoral programmes in 8 Ayurvedic subjects under MUHS Nashik regulations. The minimum duration is three years. Eligible candidates must hold an MD/MS (Ayurveda) degree and identify an approved research supervisor at the institution.
