Re-NEET 2026 Fee Refund – What You Need to Know

NTA is refunding the application fee paid for the original May 3 exam. The refund portal is open until June 22. Before you download your admit card, you are asked to verify your bank account details on the portal. Once verified, both the refund gets processed and the admit card download activates. Why Was the Original NEET 2026 Cancelled?

NEET UG 2026 was held on May 3 for over 22 lakh students across 5,400 centres in 551 cities in India and 14 abroad. Paper leak reports came out the same day. Leak happened through messaging app groups sharing questions under labels like 'trusted source' and 'high probability questions.' NTA investigated and cancelled the exam on May 12. CBI registered an FIR and arrested five people including Mangilal Biwal, Dinesh Biwal, Vikas Biwal, Shubham Khairnar and Yash Yadav. A Delhi court called it an organised gang that leaked papers for money. The Supreme Court is monitoring the case and FAIMA has filed a petition demanding NTA be dissolved.

Preparing for Re-NEET 2026 in One Week

Six days left. This is not the time for new topics. Biology is 50 percent of your marks — go through NCERT line by line one more time. The result is expected in July 2026. Once out, NEET UG counselling starts. All India Quota counselling is run by MCC at mcc.nic.in. State quota counselling is run by your respective state authority.
