Admission to the 60 BAMS seats at Atharva AMC Dharwad is entirely merit-based through NEET (UG), conducted by NTA. Of the sanctioned seats, 9 seats (15%) are filled through AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee) under the All India Quota, and 51 seats (85%) are filled through Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) AYUSH Counselling at kea.kar.nic.in, covering State Quota, Management Quota, and NRI Quota. Candidates should register for the relevant counselling body, complete document verification and choice filling listing the college, and report to the Dharwad campus with original documents upon seat allotment to confirm enrolment.

Required documents at time of college reporting: NEET UG scorecard; 10th and 12th mark sheets and passing certificates; Transfer Certificate from last attended institution; Migration Certificate (for students from outside Karnataka); Domicile/Nativity Certificate (for Karnataka state quota); Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/Minority, if applicable); Physical Fitness Certificate issued by a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon (including Ayurvedic Physician); Passport-size photographs; any other documents specified in the KEA/AACCC allotment letter. All seats, including Management and NRI Quota, are filled through centralised AACCC/KEA counselling.
