Atharva AMC Dharwad offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme with an annual sanctioned intake of 60 seats, approved by NCISM under Section 29 of the NCISM Act, 2020 (Institute ID: AYU0817), from the 2023-24 academic session. The 5.5-year programme (4.5 years of academic study plus a 1-year compulsory Rotatory Internship) is delivered across fourteen departments aligned with the NCISM-prescribed BAMS curriculum, with clinical training conducted at the attached Atharva Ayurveda Hospital on the same campus. Eligibility requires a pass in 10+2/PUC with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB (45% for SC/ST/OBC Karnataka categories), and a valid NEET (UG) qualifying score.
