Atharva AMC Dharwad holds the core statutory approvals required for a valid BAMS degree: an NCISM Letter of Permission (Institute ID: AYU0817, Section 29 of the NCISM Act, 2020) and RGUHS affiliation. As a college that commenced its academic journey only in 2023, it has not yet accumulated sufficient years for commercial ranking table inclusion, but the three-decade Ayurveda education legacy of its parent body, the Rajiv Gandhi Education Society (which also runs Rajiv Gandhi Ayurvedic Medical College, Ron, since 1993-94), and its purpose-built Dharwad campus place it among the credible newer private Ayurvedic colleges in North Karnataka.
