Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu: For DNH & DD domicile (UT resident) candidates — Annual tuition: ₹25,000; Sports/Gymkhana: ₹2,000/year; Library: ₹1,000/year; Hostel: ₹2,000/year; Admission fee (one-time): ₹5,000; I-Card (one-time): ₹100. Total for 4.5 years: ₹35,100. For outside (non-UT) candidates — Annual tuition: ₹50,000; same other charges. Total for 4.5 years: ₹60,100. Mess fee is charged at actuals. University Affiliation fee is as decided by the university. This makes NAMO MERI among the cheapest government MBBS colleges in India.
NAMO MERI has an NMC-approved annual MBBS intake of 177 students per year, as confirmed on the official website. Seats are distributed as: 15% (approximately 27 seats) under All India Quota (AIQ) filled through MCC counselling at mcc.nic.in, and 85% (approximately 150 seats) under DNH & DD State/UT Quota filled through DMET DNH & DD counselling at namomeriadmission.in. Reserved seats are available for domicile residents of Daman & Diu, Silvassa, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
The teaching hospital is Shri Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital (VBCH), Silvassa — a 650-bed multi-specialty government hospital being upgraded to 1250 beds. It was established in 1952 as a Cottage Hospital and is the primary referral hospital for DNH & DD UT. OPDs are operational Mon–Sat (morning and afternoon sessions). Specialist OPDs include: General Medicine, Surgery, ENT, Paediatrics, Neonatology, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Neurosurgery, Dental (with maxillofacial surgery, endodontics, periodontology), and more. Hospital website: vbch.dnh.nic.in. An associated College of Nursing (svbcondnh.in) is also on campus.
DNH & DD domicile candidates admitted under UT/state quota are expected to complete compulsory rural/government service as per the UT Administration's bond obligations after MBBS and internship. Bond amount details are published in the admission prospectus. Regarding hostel: Both boys' and girls' hostels are available on the 20-acre campus with an annual hostel fee of just ₹2,000/year. An intern hostel is also separately available. Mess fee is charged at actuals. The hostel fee of ₹2,000/year is among the lowest hostel charges in any Indian medical college.
