Required Entrance Exams

NEET (UG) — conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Kerala BAMS admission is through CEE Kerala CAP (NOT AACCC/KEA as in other states).

Eligibility Criteria
10+2/Plus Two with Physics, Chemistry, Biology; minimum 50% marks in PCB (General/OC); as per Kerala CEE category norms for SC/ST/OBC; valid NEET (UG) score; minimum age 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year.
Admission Process
NEET (UG) qualification → Register for Kerala BAMS / Ayurveda Admission through the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala at cee.kerala.gov.in → Online application submission with NEET score card, Plus Two mark sheet, community certificate (if applicable), and all required documents as per CEE Kerala instructions → Certificate verification → Rank-based seat allotment through Kerala Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) for Government/Merit Quota seats (approx. 85% of 50 seats) → For Management and NRI Quota (approx. 15% of 50 seats): apply directly to SAMC through Santhigiri Ashram / SAMC management using the enquiry form at samc.santhigiriashram.org/admission/enqmform.php or contact +91-0491-2574343 → Document verification at SAMC: original certificates for NEET score, academic records, community certificate (if applicable), NRI documents (for NRI quota) → Fee remittance and admission confirmation.

Important Notice

Kerala BAMS admission is conducted EXCLUSIVELY through CEE Kerala’s own Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) based on NEET (UG) scores — NOT through AACCC (the national 15% All India Quota mechanism) or KEA (Karnataka-specific). How to Get BAMS Admission at Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad via NEET and Kerala CEE CAP

Eligibility and Candidate Categories

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or Plus Two with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects, obtained minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB (as per Kerala CEE category norms for SC/ST/OBC), and hold a valid NEET (UG) score. Kerala classifies candidates as: Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I), and Non-Keralite Category II (NK II). OCI/PIO cardholders are treated at par with Indian citizens for admission. NK II candidates are eligible for Management Quota seats.
