Admissions to SDM CAH Hassan – BAMS and MD/MS Ayurveda

BAMS Admission Process

For the BAMS programme, 15% of seats fall under the All India Quota and are managed through AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee). The remaining 85% of seats — including State Quota, Management Quota, and NRI Quota — are allocated through KEA via its centralised online AYUSH counselling. Candidates must register on the KEA portal (cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea), upload documents, participate in option entry, and report to the allotted college after fee payment. KEA generally conducts four rounds: First Round, Second Round, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round.

Documents Required for BAMS Admission

• SLC Certificate / 10th Standard Marks Card (as age proof)
• 1st and 2nd PUC / 10+2 Marks Cards
• SC/ST or OBC Certificate (if applicable)
• Income Certificate
• Aadhar Card (photocopy)
• NEET UG Admit Card and Score Card (issued by NTA, New Delhi)
• Eligibility Certificate from RGUHS (for out-of-state students)
• Equivalence Certificate from AIU (for Foreign Nationals)
• KEA Registration Form printout with proof of registration fee payment
• Undertaking on Rs. 100 Stamp Paper as required by KEA

MD/MS (Ayurveda) Admission Process

Admission to MD and MS (Ayurveda) programmes is based on the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) scores, conducted by NTA. Karnataka routes both State Quota (85%) and All India Quota (15%) PG AYUSH admissions through KEA's centralised PG AYUSH counselling. Eligibility requires a BAMS degree from an NCISM-recognised institution and completion of the one-year compulsory rotating internship by 31st March of the admission year. Candidates from any state may apply under the All India Quota.

• Physically Handicapped Medical Certificate (if applicable)
